Release film

Trennfilm is Lehmann & Voss & Co.'s brand name for modified polyamide films produced by mf films.

Release films are mono-CPA and co-extruded multi-layer polyamide films for the production of SMC (Sheet Molding Compounds), which are characterized by very good tear strength and barrier properties.

During SMC production, a resin-filler-glass fiber mixture is put between two foils by squeegeeing and rolled up. After a maturing time (thickening) depending on the recipe, the film must be easy to cut and remove from the compound. The SMC is then pressed and cured into finished parts.

The following release film products are currently available:

• Release film C
  Newly developed COEX film made of PE/PA
• Separating film S
  Cast polyamide film, highly tear-resistant
• Separating film F
  Cast polyamide film with very good release effect
• Separating film P
  Cast polyamide film, highly tear-resistant with good release properties
